LATCH System Base

Your Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30 car seat comes with a LATCH system base which can be easily secured in most newer vehicles via its SafeGuard®* remote connectors or with your vehicle’s seat belt. (Additional bases may be purchased separately in three color choices to coordinate with your Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30 carrier.)

The real beauty behind our LATCH system base lies in the SafeGuard® remote connectors, which offer a simple “push, click, and adjust” operation that provides an audible sound when locked, and that quickly releases with just the push of a button. While some car seats use metal hooks, parents must reach down in the seat, searching to make the connection. With the SafeGuard® remote connectors, the attachment can be made in a snap! Long and easy to grip with a convenient button at the end, they’re much easier to connect and detach than cheaper alternative methods of attachment.
