Thanks to Peg Perego innovation, the Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30 is a car seat you can use throughout your child’s infancy. It’s designed to protect children from 5 to 30 pounds and up to 30 inches long – or up to one year of age. And it does this with incredible ease.
That’s primarily because of the movable locking backplate that controls the height adjustment of the entire backpad/headrest/Side Impact Protection/safety harness assembly. Everything moves as a single unit to accommodate and secure your child at various stages of growth.
You never have to disconnect and re-thread the safety-harness straps by hand, either, because they adjust just as easily.
As an added measure of comfort and security for newborns and smaller babies, an additional seat cushion (included) may be attached through the “between-the-legs” belt. This can be removed easily when the child is big enough to sit securely without it.
The Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30’s adjustable hood affords further protection, too. Simply pull it forward until it snaps into place over baby’s head, and it instantly provides shade, shielding your little one from the sun and elements. When it isn’t needed, the hood quickly stows behind the headrest/SIP wings.
